It just does not get easier at White Hart Lane. After splashing the cash (£16.5 million) on Modric in the hopes that he would fast track Spurs to a CL spot, it appears that Ramos and Damien Comolli are are losing faith and are targeting Andrei Arshavin for the January transfer.

Last night after dinner, I went down to the Only Time Will Tell offices and watched Spurs UEFA Cup game and EPL game and one thing became clear, maybe they are what their record says they are.

Sure they spent a ton of money on the likes of Bentley, Giovani, Pavlyuchenko and Modric.

It appears that Tottenham have signed Roman Pavlyuchenko from Spartak Moscow. This is exactly the move that they need to make, to sign a pure goal-scoring forward to replace Robbie Keane and most likely also Dimitar Berbatov. Pavlyuchenko showed at Euro 2008 that he is a player with a lot of ability, who can lead the front line and he should be a real star for Spurs and in the Premier League.
