        <summary type="html"><![CDATA[<p>The Galaxy hung on to win 3-2, but this game was much closer than it should have been.</p> <p>That was partly because Colorado belatedly discovered its offense in the second half - at one point late in the game the Rapids had out shot the Galaxy seven to one.</p> <p>The Galaxy had looked to be heading for a comfortable win when Ely Allen scored his first MLS goal of his career just after the break, getting on the end of a Pete Vagenas through ball to make it 3-0.</p> ]]></summary>
