On loan from Man City this season, Adebayor is surplus to requirements at his parent club. He joined Tottenham on a season long loan with the promise of changing room bust ups, a blatant lack of effort and a petulant mercenary footballer.
What we got instead was an unselfish and happy striker willing and able to bust a gut for the team, whilst scoring and providing goals.

An early goal from Ade and a second half one from Defoe gave us the win in a match that was largely a procession.
