You may have seen the update on Ledley King posted on the official Spurs site earlier today. If you
haven't, its below. Whilst not explicitly saying it, the sentence
"The Club has been fantastic
in supporting me and given me several options to stay involved with Tottenham"... sounds
to me like the club have not offered him a full time contract, or are waiting to see what he is
like in pre season before deciding.
Pav in "training" with Russia Following a dull 0-0 draw between Russia and Lithuania in which ex-
Spur Pavlyuchenko played the second 45 minutes, the lazy git has been told by his manager that he
is too fat and if he wants to play in the Euros he has one week to lose weight.

The VDVs As you may have noticed, the latest story to be doing the rounds in the British gutter
press is Van Der Vaart to Schalke.
You'll notice various English papers are quoting Van Der Vaart with this:
"I don't want to say anything at the moment, as all my focus is on the European
Championships.
The End of Season Survey results are in. Find out how your fellow Spurs fans rated our season
below:
At the very start of the season, before a ball was kicked, where did you expect us to finish in
the League?
61% thought we'd finish finish top 4 and voted either 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th.
Seeing as though our Champions League qualification hinges on whether or not Bayern Munich beat
Chelsea on the weekend, I've scoured the German Bayern forums to get their views on how they thing
the Champions League final will go. My investigative Googling is summarised below:

On loan from Man City this season, Adebayor is surplus to requirements at his parent club. He
joined Tottenham on a season long loan with the promise of changing room bust ups, a blatant lack
of effort and a petulant mercenary footballer.
What we got instead was an unselfish and happy striker willing and able to bust a gut for the team,
whilst scoring and providing goals.
Sylvie's latest lingerie shoot for Hunkemöller means we have another range of Sylvie Van Der

There's questions about the current season, the players and next season. I won't say too much about
the current season or the questions as I don't want to influence your responses.
The survey closes mid-day on Saturday 19th and the winner will be chosen at random from the
completed surveys.

An early goal from Ade and a second half one from Defoe gave us the win in a match that was largely
a procession. It meant that with Marton Fulop making some awful mistakes over at West Brom, we
stayed fourth and are now waiting on the Champions League final before our season can be declared
as over.
With Fulham unable to do any worse than 9th, or any better than 7th, their fans are content to play
an ultra attacking to go all out for the final game of the season.
They reckon a result against us could be on the cards seeing as they dominated us at Craven Cottage
despite us eventually winning the game 3-1.
Reports today are quoting Benoit Assou-Ekotto as saying that he is looking to move on from Spurs.
As always, a bit of context is required. The questions below are from two interviews that Benny has
given recently that the British media has jumped on. Benny has been praised for his honesty during
his time at Spurs and we shouldn't be surprised when he says he may need to move on if his career
isn't progressing.
The final home game for Villa this season sees their fans not exactly confident at picking up what
would be only their fifth home win of the season. There are rumours of a protest before and after
the game that may or may not have been cancelled, but it's definitely driving a wedge between the
fans who would rather get behind the team at this late stage and those who want to make their
feelings clear to the board.
If the Blackburn game was a stepping stone to form, this was the realisation of it. Except for 15
or so minutes at the start of the second half, this was another game in which Spurs dominated, but
this time the slick play of the first half of the season shone through as we tore Bolton apart in
the space of ten minutes.
