The Philadelphia Union will not have the services of starting forward Lionard Pajoy after Major League Soccer's Disciplinary Committee suspended him for one game for his challenge on Toronto FC forward Joao Plata last weekend.

Pajoy was also fined for the incident in which the Colombian striker lost the ball and went in hard against Plata, who had gained possession of the ball seconds before the challenge.

Panamanian National Team assistant captain Gabriel Gomez will miss today's friendly against Jamaica and may miss the country's two upcoming 2014 World Cup Qualifying games, according to David Sakata of Diario Pro.

Gomez was evaluated on Wednesday by the team doctor, Gerinaldo Martinez, who requested that the player have a sonogram.

This past Sunday, USWNT Head Coach Pia Sundhage announced the 18 players she will be bringing with her to London to compete in this Summer's Olympic games in London. Eleven of the players named to the Olympic squad also competed in the 2011 World Cup in Beijing.
