rout was on. Even though Winter Haven dominated the possession and Lake Gibson rarely got the ball
into Winter Haven's territory Lake Gibson did not give up. On a break away that seemed to be
stopped by the Blue Devil's, Gibson Senior Maddison Dixon intercepted a hurried pass from a Winter
Haven Defender and slipped the ball past the Blue Devil keeper to cut the lead to 2 to 1 and make a
game of it at 21 minutes remaining in the first half.
