Guingamp pulled off a shock result by beating FC Nantes 2-0 away from home.
Nantes we favorites to win the game as Guingamp were struggling in the relegation places ahead
of the match and Nantes were set to regain a promotion place.
Christian Bassila gave EAG the lead in the 32nd minute, heading home an Alharbi El Jadeyaoui
corner, Gilmar then sealed the victory in the 72nd minute when he headed Guingamp into a 2-0
lead.

Guingamp make the short journey to Nantes tonight to face a team flying high in the league so
far this season.
Guingamp currently sit 2nd from bottom in the L2 season, a win tonight can see them move out of
the relegation zone. FC Nantes currently sit in 4th place in the in the L2 table, a win for them
could see them move up to 2nd.

Guingamp suffered a 3-0 defeat away at Laval last night, a result that sees them drop into the
relegation zone for the first time this season.
Guingamp went behind in the 34th minute, Steve Haguy opening the scoring for the Tangos (1-0,
34 mins).
The game reamined 1-0 until the 81st minute when EAG cracked and conceeded 2 late goals.

Guingamp travel to Laval on Friday night in an attempt to revive their season and pull
themselves clear of relegation.
EAG and now just one place and one point above the drop zone and a defeat tomorrow night could
see them drop into the relegation zone for the first time this season.
Laval have only managed one win in their last five games, that was a 2-0 win away at Havre
AC.

Guingamp suffered their first home defeat of the season last night at the hands of Harve AC.
Victor Zvunka opted for a 4-2-3-1 formation with Mustapha Allaoui leading the attack, Alharbi El
Jadeyaoui also returned to the team in place of Richard Soumah who dropped to the bench.
Guingamp started brightly creating several opportunities but were behind after just 8 minutes,
Nicolas Gillet volleying the ball past Trevisan (0-1, 8 mins).

Guingamp face a tricky home encounter against high flying Harve AC tonight at the Roudourou.
Despite Guingamp's poor form this season they are still unbeaten at home, with 1 win and 4
draws. However, Harve AC are strong away from home and have only lost once on their travels this
season taking 9 points from a possible 18.

Guingamp suffered their third straight away defeat at the hands of FC Metz last night.
Guingamp started the game brightly creating 3 good chances in the first half but Giresse, Soumah
and Diallo were all unable to take their chances.
At half-time the game remained 0-0, Guingamp's failure to take their chances would once again
come back to hurt them.

Guingamp will face FC Metz tonight in what is their first of three games in eight days.
Metz sit just two places and two points above Guingamp in the L2 table so a victory tonight
could see the 'red and blacks' leapfrog their opponents.
Guingamp have been poor away from home this season, after a win and a draw in the opening two
away games they have failed to win in the last three away from home.

Guingamp were held to a 1-1 draw at home to a well organized Dijon side at home last night.
Injuries to key players meant that Zvunka had to make some changes to the team for the game, the
most notable being Gilbert Imbula Wanga who made his first professional appearance for the
club.
Zvunka also decided to play two strikers, bringing Mathieu Scarpelli in to partner Mustapha
Allaoui up-front.

Guingamp are back in action tonight after the international break and look to end their poor run
of form with a win over Dijon FCO.
Dijon are level on points with Guingamp in the L2 table and have not won in the league since
they beat Bastia on the 11th September.
Guingamp's most disappointing aspect this season has been the lack of goals Mathieu Scarpelli is
this seasons leading scorer with just 2 goals, but he has only started 5 games this season.

Guingamp suffered another disappointing defeat last night at the hands of Nimes.
EAG have failed to win in the league since late August and worse still have only managed 1 goal
in the 5 games previous to last nights game.
Guingamp enjoyed large spells of dominance over Nimes but the teams inability to score goals
means the club travel back home empty handed.
