Stockport County striker Peter Thompson has urged his team mates to keep their heads high and
believe that they can avoid relegation as County are firm favorites to go down in the League this
season.
With a poor run of just one win in six games County find themselves lying two points outside the
relegation Zone however Thompson believes the Squad and Boss Gary Ablett can turn things
around.

Stockport County went into Administration in April earlier this year with the appointment of
John Titley and Paul Reeves, Directors at Leonard Curtis.
Today the Administrators at Leonard Curtis gave this statement about where the Sale of Stockport
County is up to.
"The Administrators understand the frustration of supporters at the apparent lack of progress
being made on completing a sale of the Club and exiting Administration, however, we would like to
reassure all fans that the sales process is still continuing to progress.

Speaking to Pure Fm after yesterdays thumping at home to Millwall County boss Gary Ablett
admitted his side were poor and embarrassed themselves. He added "all afternoon we caused our own
problems and we were never good enough, if things don't improve things are going to change".

1.How do you feel about the departure of your manager John Barnes and Jason McAteer ?
I am glad John Barnes and McAteer have been sacked as i feel if we carried on any longer with
those 2 in charge we would have been relegated and if we brought anyone in later on in the season
it would have been to late to turn things around.

Referees in 1998. After only one season promoted to the SG of assistant referees until he reached
