Chesterfield reclaimed top spot in the League Two table by beating Torquay United as previous
leaders Port Vale lost at lowly Morecambe.
Bury also slipped to defeat away to Wycombe Wanderers, while Barnet recorded an important
victory at the bottom end of the table.
Jack Lester's sixth goal of the season sent Chesterfield back to the top of the table
courtesy of a 1-0 home win over Torquay.
Greg Tansey forced home from close range but Crewe's Clayton Donaldson scored either side of
half-time.
David Poole then scored from close range in the 54th minute. Crewe went back in front 10 minutes
later through a spectacular 35-yard free kick from Danny Shelley. Then when Wes Fletcher was
upended by David Artell in the area, Tansey made it 3-3 from the penalty spot to complete the
scoring.
Crewe manager Dario Gradi has called for Clayton Donaldson to be more ruthless in front of
goal.
The striker produced a curling shot and a header for his 10th and 11th goals of the season as
the Railwaymen earned a 3-3 draw at Stockport.
Gradi said: "There's not enough from him.
Greg Tansey's penalty earned Stockport a point as they drew 3-3 with Crewe in an incident-packed
clash at Edgeley Park.
The visitors began brightly but went behind mid-way through the first half when Greg Tansey
forced home from close range after some excellent work by Mansour Assoumani.
Leaders Port Vale travel to struggling Morecambe on Saturday, while bottom side Hereford face
Bradford.
After the recent weather disruption, just one fixture has been postponed - Lincoln's
clash with Oxford - while snow is being cleared off the pitches at Bradford and
Macclesfield.
Stockport boss Paul Simpson has backed striker George Donnelly to rediscover his form after
going 10 games without a goal.
Simpson is still hopeful he will be allowed to bring Donnelly to Edgeley Park permanently in the
January transfer window from Plymouth, but admits the 22-year-old needs to recover from a crisis of
confidence.
Stockport manager Paul Simpson was left deflated as his side slipped to a 2-0 defeat at
Northampton on Saturday.
The Cobblers comfortably won the match with goals in each half from Kevin Thornton and
substitute Michael Jacobs.
Simpson said: "We've missed a good chance to move up the table.
Stockport County manager Paul Simpson has appointed Dave Kevan to the League Two club's coaching
team.
Kevan, who previously spent three years with Notts County, met up with the players and staff at
the training ground on Thursday.
Having spent time as caretaker manager at Meadow Lane, Kevan has also enjoyed roles with Stoke
and Burnley.
County are out of the JPT, losing on penalties after a good 90 minutes against Tranmere. Same old
story really, penalties ruining a good performance. More to follow.

So Stockport County are back in business and we cant thank the 2015 group enough.
By ROB MCNALLY - As I was sitting at home looking through the fixtures I noticed that Stockport
county was playing away at Bradford City on a Saturday.... Wolves were away at Chelsea a game in
which Wolves were to win 1-0 away but I made the decision a few days before to watch Stockport, I
phoned a friend of mine and asked if he fancied travelling with Stockport County fans away to
Bradford.
By JAMIE SUMMERS. County's F.A. Cup curse seems set to continue after a nightmare draw at home
against League One side Peterborough United.
