Now that the European scene has died down substantially, and we can look forward to reading

If there is anything left to say about this game, deemed "the Superbowl of Soccer" by the CBC,
is that Barca completely outclassed the English champions. Barca's tic-tac-toe football was
enthralling.

I got a pleasant surprise on Saturday when I was invited to watch the Campeonato Paulista at a
small Brazilian restaurant, Rio 40 on St. Claire in Toronto this Sunday. The Campeonato Paulista is
a state-wide tournament for Sao Paulo, and the final is played on the same day as the Campeonato
Carioca, Rio's similar tournament.

I was finally re-united with the Toronto Chelsea Supporters Club. The last time I visited this
lively bunch at Scallywag's, winter was just rolling in, Scolari was still coach and Chelsea lost
3-0 at Old Trafford. Much has changed from then, and Chelsea was a much different team in front of
Barca, but their supporters remain as lively and positive as ever.

Trudging through Piccadilly Circus in 2004, I stopped to stare through the windows of a
television store. I wasn't the only one. I was one of many men who had began walking down the
street, some businessmen, some tourists traveling with their wives, some local shop owners walking
