A friend of mine, Tavis Piattoly, is the Sports Dietitian for the New Orleans Saints and New
Orleans Hornets. He is launching a new website called High School Sports Nutrition and recently

This week's guest on the Jared Montz Soccer Podcast is Perry Kitchen. Perry was a 2011 top
draft pick for D.C. United and he recently won a collegiate National Championship with the
University of Akron. Perry is a 19 year old Generation Adidas player, U-20 USMNT player and is
one of the rookies most expected to have a great rookie season.

I am very excited to say that one of our Online Soccer Academy players Evan Mundine is home safe
and sound from his surgery he had recently. If you haven't read Evan's story then click here.
Evan is a great kid, with a heart the size of the world and despite having some health issues and
injuries he is determined to be a great soccer player and he has also raised over $10,000 for
charity in the process.

We had a lot of goal celebrations in Gonzales, Louisiana this past weekend at the Jared Montz
Pro Soccer Camp. Since it was only a two day camp we didn't have much time to practice goal
celebrations so most were very spur of the moment. Enjoy!

This past weekend was the Gonzales, Louisiana Jared Montz Pro Soccer Camp. It was a two day
weekend camp, we had a great turn out and despite the rainy weather on Sunday it was a solid two
days of camp. As you can seen in the picture those brand new white camp shirts didn't stay white
for to long!

I am so sorry to say this but there will be no Jared Montz Soccer Podcast this week. I have
been battling the Flu since Tuesday January 18 and today is the first day I am sort of feeling back
to my normal self. You may have noticed my lack of blog posting, social media posting, etc and
that is all been because of the Flu.
