Barcelona received the bad news that they were dreading today regarding defender Eric Abidal.
Team doctors confirmed the left leg injury that Abidal suffered in France's World Cup playoff match
against Ireland.
The injury comes at a very bad time with the matches coming up in the next week against Inter
Milan and Real Madrid.

Cristiano Ronaldo is recovering from an ankle injury he suffered back in October in a match with
his national team side Portugal. The injury will keep him out of Portugal's World Cup play-off
matches against Bosnia-Herzegovina.
It was earlier reported that Ronald would not be ready in time for the match against FC
Barcelona on November 29 but when talking to reporters today in Madrid he was optimistic.

Leonesa in the second leg of the Copa del Rey. Barcelona was going into the match already up by two
goals after routinely pushing aside Leonesa on their home pitch.

unable to capitalize against Rubin Kazan.
In a balmy 25 degrees Fahrenheit Barcelona came out in the first half with revenge on their
mind. Having lost 2-1 to Kazan at home just weeks prior Guardiola's men were looking for a win on

It was a hard ending to swallow for FC Barcelona as they battled Osasuna to a scoreless draw
late into the second half of the match. Early in the first half the Barcelona defense looked a
little off as they were not clearing the ball out of the back field and giving the Osasuna offense
too much space to move the ball around.

visited third divison side Cultural Leonesa. Today's lineup featured Bojan, Gai Assulin and Pedro
upfront and early on the kids looked like they were going to have an easy time moving the ball
around the Leonesa defense.
