The Brazilian Football Confederation has confirmed that Brazil will take on Sweden in Stockholm
on 15thAugust 2012. The game will be the final fixture in the Råsunda stadium – the venue
where Brazil won their first World Cup after beating the hosts in 1958. After the fixture with
Brazil, the stadium will be torn down and a new arena put up.
Henrique: still off to QPR?
São Paulo director, João Paulo de Jesus Lopes, says that the door has not been shut on forward
Henrique's transfer to QPR. The Morumbi club say that contrary to earlier reports, Henrique has not
been denied a UK work visa. "The truth is the visa wasn't turned down.
Mano Menezes and co could face England next year

26th October 2013. The game is set to be part of the 150 years of football celebrations

São Paulo have confirmed that they have signed Brazil international Jadson from Shakhtar
Donetsk. The 28-year-old has penned a three year deal but details of the transfer fee have yet to
be released

Arsenal player Wellington Silva has switched Levante for Alcoyano who are currently sitting 17th
in the Spanish second division.
Silva signed for Arsenal from Fluminense at the start of 2010 for around £3.5 million when he was
just 16. He officially joined the Gunners when he turned 18.

São Paulo's 21-year-old forward, Henrique, is reported to be close to signing a loan deal with
Premier League club Queen Park Rangers. The initial deal is thought to be at around the €500,000
mark rising to €6million if QPR decide to make the transfer permanent.
The Brazilian Football Confederation has confirmed Brazil's playing schedule for the first six
months of June 2012. The South Americans will take on Bosnia and Herzegovina in Switzerland on
February 28th. On May 26th they fly to Hamburg to play Denmark. 30th or 31st will see Brazil
against the USA in Boston or Washington.
Neymar in action against the 'old enemy'
The Argentine Football Association has announced a friendly versus Brazil on 9th June.
The rivals are scheduled to meet in the MetLife stadium in New Jersey but the Brazilian Football
Confederation have yet to confirm the fixture.
Brazil are next in action in February when their opponents could be Egypt (again to be
confirmed).
As we go into the second week of the January transfer window, speculation is rife when it comes

coach has made changes from the team that beat Gabon 2-0 last week. Daniel Alves returns from
suspension and replaces Manchester United's Rafael.

Spanish club Malaga have announced the signings of three 17-year-olds from Juventude.
Alan Bald, Darlei Santos and Airton Michellon impressed the Spaniards during the Copa Cotif

Valencia.
Brazil coach Mano Menezes has already picked his eleven players that will start against Gabon on
Thursday. Menezes gives Valencia keeper, Diego Alves, and Benfica midfielder, Bruno César, their

The Swedish Football Federation have announced friendly against Brazil 15th August 2012. The
match will celebrate the final fixture in the Rasunda stadium, which hosted the World Cup final
between Brazil and Sweden in 1958.
Kaká finding form with Real Madrid and now back with Brazil
Mano Menezes has announced his squad for the international friendlies versus Gabon on 10th
November and Egypt four days later.
With the Campeonato Brasileiro in the run in to the end of the championship, Menezes has listened
to the Brazilian clubs calls to leave their players out of the Brazil's games.
