The Brazilian Football Confederation has confirmed that Brazil will take on Sweden in Stockholm on 15thAugust 2012. The game will be the final fixture in the Råsunda stadium – the venue where Brazil won their first World Cup after beating the hosts in 1958. After the fixture with Brazil, the stadium will be torn down and a new arena put up.

Arsenal player Wellington Silva has switched Levante for Alcoyano who are currently sitting 17th in the Spanish second division.
Silva signed for Arsenal from Fluminense at the start of 2010 for around £3.5 million when he was just 16. He officially joined the Gunners when he turned 18.

São Paulo's 21-year-old forward, Henrique, is reported to be close to signing a loan deal with Premier League club Queen Park Rangers. The initial deal is thought to be at around the €500,000 mark rising to €6million if QPR decide to make the transfer permanent.

The South Americans will take on Bosnia and Herzegovina in Switzerland on February 28th.
