I will become a very short-lived New York Red Bulls fan if they can beat Real Salt Lake tonight
to aid in the cause of TFC making the playoffs. If Real wins, our hopes go further down the drain,
and TFC plays Real in Toronto for their last home game this Saturday. I'll be at that match, and I
really hope it still means something!

Toronto FC broke out the pink jerseys to support breast cancer research this weekend against San
Jose Earthquakes. This one ended in a 1-1 draw, and was mainly a good outing for TFC except for
their usual nemesis the last 15 minutes. To be fair, this time it was only the last 2 minutes that
were the problem (San Jose scored the equalizer in the 92nd minute).

Last night's game in Chicago was yet another episode in frustration for Toronto FC. TFC need
every point they can get to cling to their slim chance of making the playoffs, and unfortunately
they gave up two of them last night.
The frustrating part is that Chicago was definitely beatable, but Toronto still managed to
squander the lead twice in the game and may now be too far out of the playoff race to catch up.

Although Toronto FC has had trouble finding the back of the net during their first two years, I do
not expect them to have problems in that department during this campaign. Partly this is due to the
addition of Pablo Vitti, partly due to the maturation of Chad Barrett, and partly because there is
a [.

If you've been keeping up with this blog recently, you'll know that I'm still hoping for an
addition to Toronto FC's central defense before this Saturday's season opener in Kansas City. In
yesterday's news post, I linked to Ives' preseason power rankings, which hint at TFC making an
acquisition of that type this week.

Tidbits: As you may be able to guess from the above picture (taken from the USector boards), the
season ticket packages began to trickle in around the province today. Can't say I like the scarf as
much as last year's, but the tickets are in a poster format this year, which will look wonderful on
my [.

This has the potential to be a very exciting day for TFC. We go in with 3 first round picks (2, 4,
and 13) and one 3rd rounder (34). The chances of us picking four players in those spots are less
than zero. Don't forget we have Trader Mo as our GM. Rumours Some sort of deal [...]

Why is there a baseball stadium on a soccer blog? Well, because this venue is where TFC will be
opening their season on Saturday March 21 at 8:30 pm. It is Community America Ballpark, in Kansas
City. Today, MLS released the schedule for the first three games of the season. After starting off
in KC, [.

For those of you that was looking for the MEXICO VS Canada game and were unsuccessful, fear not i

It's that time of year again, folks – season ticket renewals are due on Friday. While TFC had
an astonishing renewal rate of 94% last year, methinks that after only marginal improvement during
the second season, this number may drop. In the last couple home games (yes, I know the weather may
have been a [.

When Saturday's final whistle blew in front of 20 074 fans at BMO Field on a rainy afternoon in
Toronto, two things had just become clear - TFC had delivered their best performance in months, and
the MLS playoffs will be played without the Reds this year. Like so often this season, TFC could
have [.

This past weekend, representatives from adidas travelled around sports stores in the GTA to present
the designs for next year's TFC kit. Luckily, a fan with a cellphone camera managed to catch a
glimpse at the ProImage in Bramalea: 1. Collar...I don't mind, but get used to people at BMO who
feel the need to pop [.

I'm so tired of complaining about the refs that I've created this blog specifically to address the
issue. At first I was going to go off on a rant but honestly this issue is more persistent and goes
deeper than something as trivial as GOLTV's stupid decision to cut away from a live match [...]

News reaching us this morning from the Bosporus is indicating that Toronto FC are about to sign
their first ever Beckham Rule superstar Designated Player. To translate from this article,
Şükür met with officials from Toronto FC last week and had a verbal agreement. He
chose Canada for his daughters education and rejected offers from [.
