ESPN of the college women's soccer match between New Mexico and BYU yesterday. Defender
Elizabeth Lambert of New Mexico seemed to be playing the wrong sport as she tackled, punched,

Chelsea's transfer ban has been temporarily suspended by the Court of Arbitration for Sport
(Cas) pending a final decision on the matter.
Fifa had ruled the club could not sign players until 2011 after inducing Gael Kakuta to break
his Lens contract. But Chelsea appealed to Cas, which said on Friday:
"Such sanctions are now stayed until the Cas renders its final decision in this matter.

Fernando Torres underwent tests on Thursday at a Liverpool hospital on the serious groin injury
which is threatening to ruin his season. Torres played with pain throughout the match, before
flying back with the Liverpool party on Thursday morning.
This morning he went to a Liverpool hospital where more tests were carried out on his

It took four rounds of play but the Champions League group stages is finally heating up.
If the group stages finished as they are now, then Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Liverpool would
all be playing in the Europa League.
Jose Mourinho and Inter Milan were five minutes away from an 9th consecutive Champions League
game without a win, when two late goals not only gave Inter the win, but also propelled them to
first place in the group.
