Heading up to the 51st state later this afternoon, hopefully for a good weekend!
I already miss, and I've never had the chance to. Unlucky.
I've come around. Will you, now?
I call on Jesus, but he didn't check his phone today
Oh oh there's my summer girl, I've been wantin' her
I hear she's got a boyfriend
Thought I could leave her for a season but it just got cold
Yeah and it's a lonely hour in my cellphone tower
Broken down transmission
But I'm gonna take you to my boxcar on the beach
And I'm gonna hang the sun above your bed and soak your hair in bleach
You'll be missed, Miss California
You'll be kissed by only me
When they can't find you
You'll turn into a mystery
But your no mystery to me, Miss California
I call on Jesus but he heard I hurt his little girl
Yeah with my reckless stare, I've been so unfair
Misplacing my affections
She had a reason not to take me back into her care
Oh oh I'm just a stray dog now I can't beg or bow
Just give me some direction
But I'm gonna take you to the mansion where I hide
And I'm gonna paint a diamond on your hand, you will be my bride
You'll be missed, Miss California
You'll be kissed by only me
When they can't find you
You'll turn into a mystery
But your no mystery to me, Miss California
Miss California
I'll be around
I'll be around
You'll be missed, Miss California
You'll be kissed by only me
When they can't find you
You'll turn into a mystery, but not to me
You'll be missed, Miss California
We'll be married in the rain
When they can't find you I'm sure I'll be the one they blame
But they can't prove anything, Miss California
Miss California
I'll be around
Yeah, so falling in the bleachers isn't exactly the best way to keep away from back pain, but it
happens I suppose.
1st place, suck it.
Yeah, so trying to do butterfly after not doing it for over 3 years isn't such a good idea. At
least my rotator cuff thinks so.
Lunch was my first experience with Chick-Fil-A (that I remember anyways). It was delicious. The
breading and the peanut oil make it. Yumm.
So this chick is getting my hopes up again, but I don't wanna get myself up for the inevitable
letdown.
Wanting something that is so far away is rough, but it gives hope for the future, something to look
forward to.
I'm such a gullible guy, and it never works in my favor, but I guess if it did, I wouldn't be
gullible, eh?
I don't like ***ts either. So if you're one, **** off, thanks.
Man, this gin & tonic is hitting the spot, just what the doctor ordered.
Not talking about the Crew and/or Spurs.
I am in the process of relocating my site, and will update once the move have completed!
Thanks to any and all that read.
Blech. Saturday sucked.
Spurs lost in stoppage, Crew lost near the end as well.
Anything less than 3 points from Columbus against the scum will be an utter disappointment.
Plain and simple.
This weekend, the lads are heading to the city of much wind, and hopefully will return with 3
points. The F*re have been playing some better soccer since they got Captain Mexico, but will it be
enough to sustain over multiple games? Will Paulo Wanchope play like he did in Germany last Summer,
or will he play like he did in Japan? I will post more pregame thoughts later in the week,
hopefully after watching a few training sessions, but we shall see.
**Feel free to discuss my ratings, or just tell me I'm an idiot, any criticism (good or bad) is
much appreciated!**
You know the drill, from the back to the front, subs at the end:
Hesmer - 7 - Wasn't really tested, made one save of importance, distributed fairly well. Overall
very solid. As one of my friends said, "He is playing with so much confidence right now, you can
just see it.
Another win at home.
I'll get some player ratings up after I watch the game again, but I will say that there may be a
10, but definitely a 9.
Go Crew!
Los Angeles. Yes, I know this is a Crew-related blog, but I thought I would get the league-mandated
mention of that team out West over with right at the beginning. So no one moves, nobody gets hurt,
ok?
Now for the goodies: Toronto comes into town tomorrow. Only 3 points back of the Crew in the
standings, this game is the most important fixture of the still young season, and anything less
than 3 points would be very disappointing.
Yeah I'm still alive, not that anyone reads or cares, but I thought I would throw that out
there.
Update looming....
Ok, so three-nil was a bit kool-aid laced. So be it.
3 points is 3 points.
And I'm not in a writing state, just a bragging one, so suck on that New Yorkers.
Oh yeah, shutout for the good guys.
Good night.
Game recap tomorrow when I awake from my "kool-aid" overdose.
Three-Nil to the good guys.
Why you ask?
Because we are world-beaters.
And last time I checked, RBNY is in the world.
So, RBNY (NYRB, whatever you call yourselves) in the words of Goldberg, "You're next!"
Go Crew!!!!
Oh yeah, we're massive too, I just didn't want to rub it in too much.
Since I wasn't really able to give my full attention to the match, I will spare the ratings.
However, I will mention a couple of things that I noticed:
1) Determination - Going into halftime up 1-0 with 10 men is certainly not a bad situation to be
in, but it's not the best one either. The Crew managed to scored two goals while being a man down,
which impressed me very much.
