The Daily Madness: Revs win first silverware, Referee attacked by parents, Beasley's rising popularity, & more

- Congratulations to the New England Revolution for winning the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup last night in a victory over fellow MLS side, FC Dallas, 3-2. Despite numerous great seasons, it is the first trophy of the sides twelve year existence. I actually got to see this match and though it was not the best soccer I've seen, it was entertaining. Probably due to the fact that both sides looked reluctant to play defense and risk injury for their MLS Cup campaigns.
