He Used to Be a Red Devil — Norman Whiteside
Before Fergie famously introduced a plethora of talented young players to the Manchester United faithful there was the prodigal figure of Norman Whiteside.
His debut as a 17 year old in 1982 would launch an all too brief, yet memorable career for many fans (like me) who fondly remember the entertaining United sides of the 1980's.
His career highlight is likely usurping Pele as the youngest person to play in a World Cup, while his most memorable contribution for United was scoring the winner in the 1985 FA Cup Final.
