Wild weather threatens Asian Cup

BANGKOK (Reuters) - A typhoon that has lashed parts of Vietnam is threatening to wreak havoc on the Asian Cup with tournament officials fearing they may have to postpone matches if the weather deteriorates.

Asian Football Confederation (AFC) officials say they are confident the matches will go ahead as planned but are prepared to postpone some games if the players were in danger.
