Quarterfinals set
The group stage is over and the QF matchups are now set. Only two goals on the most irrelevant of
days, continuing the scoring deficiencies of the last round of games. After 24 goals in the first
six matches and 19 in the following six, only 7 were scored in the past three days.
Colombia beat the US 1-0 and nothing changed. Highlights: Castrillón scored on a header; sub
keeper Guzan stopped Rodallega's penalty kick (second Colombian missed PK of the tournament); and
Rodallega had to play goalie at the end after Zapata got sent off on a second yellow for time
wasting (yes, time wasting in such an important game).
