Day 5 is over and I didn't really watch either game in its entirety. The news: Mexico is the first team to qualify for the quarterfinals and Brazil was reborn, setting itself nicely to secure its berth on Wednesday.

The defending champs beat Chile 3-0 thanks to a Robinho hat-trick, but they could only manage a PK goal before the last ten minutes or so.
