Arsenal's Peter Hill Wood as well as manager Arsene Wenger have made it clear that they would like to keep Theo Walcott, but the player is currently too far out of proportion for them to meet any of his demands.

The club is standing by their statement of not being there to be held to ransom, and if a deal is not met then they will likely find a suitable solution through the means of offloading the player.
