U.S. Men's National Team head coach Jurgen Klinsmann has dropped Jozy Altidore from the U.S. roster for the two upcoming critical World Cup qualifiers despite Altidore scoring nine goals in 10 games this season for Dutch side AZ Alkmaar.

Also dropped were striker Terrence Boyd and Chris Wondolowski as Klinmsann opted instead for an injured Landon Donovan and Eddie Johnson and Alan Gordon up-front.
