Gareth Barry Ruled Out Of Euro 2012

Gareth Barry has been ruled out of Euro 2012 following a scan on his groin injury. The scan revealed he has torn a muscle in his lower abdomen.

"I'm very disappointed to lose Gareth," said manager Roy Hodgson. "I'm sure he will still have a part to play with England after the Euros."

He has been quickly replaced by Phil Jagielka who showed promising signs in the win against Norway at the weekend.
