The footballing sphere has been quick to lend it's sympathy and support this weekend, with messages of unity flooding in from around the world for both Eric Abidal (who's facing a liver transplant) and Fabrice Muamba including Real Madrid, who took to the pitch before their 1-1 draw with Malaga in specially made t-shirts rooting for both of their stricken comrades.
