Liverpool and Spurs end goalless at Anfield

Luis Suarez made his return from his eight-match suspension but their was no fairy tale ending as Liverpool and Spurs played to a goalless draw at Anfield.

While Kenny Dalglish's side remain unbeaten at home this season, they have nevertheless struggled for goals at Anfield, scoring just 14 in 11 matches, and again, despite a lot of possession they were unable to unpick a superbly-disciplined Spurs defence.
