WPS cancels 2012 season
Women's Professional Soccer will announce later today that it has canceled the 2012 season.
The decision was reached after a vote by team owners on Monday morning. Am email was subsequently sent to the players informing them of the decision.
While details are at present sketchy, the decision appears to be the direct result of the ongoing legal battles with magicJack owner Dan Borislow.
