Quick goals spark Wave win over Wings
Marco Terminesi had a goal and an assist as the Milwaukee Wave scored four times in a 1:51 span midway through the second quarter to take control and went on to a 16-13 victory over the host Wichita Wings in a Major Indoor Soccer League game Thursday night.
Greg Howes scored his team-best 14th and 15th goals of the season and added an assist for the Wave (13-2), who finished 4-1 on their five-game road trip and increased their lead over the Missouri Comets in the Central Division to four games with nine matches left to play.
