Just a quickie to keep you abreast of the fact that Peter Crouch has reportedly escaped a three-game game ban and, indeed, will be allowed to get away scot free for his sneak-attack 'finger of doom' eye-poke assault on West Brom centre-back Jonas Olsson's corneas at the Britannia at the weekend a crime that would almost certainly land you with a six-match ban at the very least in a game as uncivilised as rugby.
