Wings rally late, fly past Wave
The host Wichita Wings scored the final nine points, including Kevin Ten Eyck's winning 3-pointer with 2:02 remaining, to stun the Milwaukee Wave 18-16 in a Major Indoor Soccer League game watched by 3,200 fans Friday night.
Ian Bennett's second goal of the game, his team-best 12th of the season, gave the Wave (11-2) a 16-9 lead 7:13 into the second half.
