The United States needed a win to qualify for the 2002 World Cup, and they got it against Jamaica at Foxboro Stadium. Joe-Max Moore was the hero for the USA that day, scoring both goals in the 2-1 win. Moore put the US up from the run of play four minutes in, only for Jamaica to equalize in the 14th minute.
