Ferguson Hopeful Depleted Squad Can Defy City’s Millions

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is hopeful his team can prevent neighbours Manchester City from becoming the dominant force in English football, in much the same way he did with Jose Mourinho's Chelsea team.

The London club won two titles under Mourinho after spending big on players, but Sir Alex rebuilt his squad and wwnt on to win the Premier League in 4 of the next 5 years.
