Everton 1 - Bolton 2
On a blustery night at Goodison Park, it was Everton's American doing the most for their club. Landon Donovan got the start on his return to the club on loan. Everton took the lead in the 63rd minute when Tim Howard scored from a goal kick (the fourth in Premier League history) that seemed to accelerate after it took a bounce into the Bolton area.
