On Changing Football Fandom

[E]very time I hear the phrase 'The Premier League era', I see in my mind's eye my fellow blogger Lanterne Rouge wince. As he never fails to point out, English football did not start in 1992. He is, of course, entirely correct; the majority of this country's greatest successes, both at club and particularly at international level came well before the start of the Premier League.
