An effervescent Swansea side stroking the ball with ease pinned the Hydra headed Spurs attack for lengthy spells. Against the run of play Spurs went up just before the half with Rafael Van Der Vaart's goal after Benoit Assou- Ekotto had done all the spadework down the left flank.
