U-23 Camp - Day One Recap

Three notes from the first full day of training:

  • Short and sharp - Each of the two sessions lasted about 75 minutes. Both began with warmups, small-side exercises to get their feet moving (4 v. 1, 5 v. 2), passing combinations, and eventually bigger games with goalkeepers.
  • Size - It's one thing to look at heights and weights on the roster page; it's another to see them in person.
