Arsenal: 125 Years
Arsenal Football Club was originally founded in 1886 by employees of the the Dial Square workshop
at the Royal Arsenal, which was an armaments factory in South-East London, in a district named
Woolwich. Consequently, they were first named 'Dial Square' A Scotsman, David Danskin is the man
said to have bought the first football for the club.
