(Milwaukee, WI) They say that defense wins championships and that the best defense is a good offense. The Milwaukee Wave proved both tonight, handing the Comets their 3rd loss of the season, 24-18. Byron Alvarez, Neto and Geison each had two goals for the Comets and the team outscored the Wave 8-2 in the 4th quarter, but not even that was enough to give the Comets a road win.
