IT'S that time of year again: the Christmas tree is up or at least threatening to be, the snow is falling or at least threatening to, and the streets are packed with frantic shoppers threatening to do things to the next person to get in their way as they search frantically for the ideal pressie for their loved ones, never quite sure if the loved one in question already has that particular one anyway.
