Kyle Altman was one of the trialists who trained with the Timbers after the season ended. 25 years old, he served as captain of the NSC Minnesota Stars, the 2011 NASL champions. Sounds like if he doesn't make the jump to MLS in the next couple of years he might decide to hang up the cleats and go to med school.
