Wenger makes excuses for Arshavin’s performance

Andrei Arshavin was given a rare start by Arsene Wenger in this weeks game against Fulham, but as usual he seemed distracted and uninterested. The little Russian was pinpointed by most Arsenal fans as the biggest flop of the match, but Wenger thinks that he should be excused because he hasn't played for a while.
