Messi: I’m not the best in the world
Reigning FIFA Player of the Year Lionel Messi has humbly stated that he is not the best player in the world, attributing his personal success to the brilliance of his Barcelona teammates and manager Pep Guardiola.
Messi, who is widely considered the best player in the world along with Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo, understands that the plethora of personal accolades he has claimed in recent years are certainly accomplishments to be proud of but insists that looking around the Barca dressing room keeps him grounded every day.
