Revs protect 11

Newly named head coach Jay Heaps and the New England Revolution made a few surprise decisions on their protected list ahead Wednesday's MLS Expansion Draft where the Montreal Impact will select ten players to continue building their new club.

Several big contributors to last year's squad, among them center back Darrius Barnes, midfielder Ryan Guy and forwards Milton Caraglio, the team's first Designated Player, and Kenny Mansally.
