MLS Commish regrets Beckham "hype," admits English star all held the cards when he came to U.S.
MLS Commissioner Don Garber admits MLS underestimated how much David Beckham was capable of dictating the terms of his five-year contract with the league when he joined the Galaxy in 2007. Nothing we didn't already know about how bush league MLS was back then, but interesting to hear Garber admit how little control over Beckham the league exerted.
