Spain held By Costa Rica In Friendly

Spain's poor form in friendlies continued Tuesday when they needed a stoppage-time goal from David Villa ij order to get a 2-2 draw at Costa Rica.

Spain fell behind after an uncharacteristic howler from captain Iker Casillas. The Real Madrid goalkeeper miscontrolled the ball near the edge of the penalty area just after the half hour, allowing Randall Brenes to lift the ball into the empty net.
