U.S. WNT to be Honored by March of Dimes
The United States Women's National Soccer Team will be honored as Sportswomen of the Year by the
March of Dimes New York Division at its 28th Annual Sports Luncheon on Wednesday, November 30, at
the Waldorf Astoria in New York. World Cup stars Abby Wambach and Hope Solo will represent the U.S.
team.
Mark Teixeira, the All-Star first baseman with the New York Yankees will be presented with the
Sportsman of the Year Award.
