Controversial midfielder backs Wazza

Joey Barton has yet again questioned Fabio Capello's criteria in the selection of England's squad but has backed the Italian's perceived support for Wayne Rooney's inclusion in England's Euro 2012 squad.

Rooney, who is widely considered England's best player, is yet to find out the exact length of his ban from the competition's group stages following a reckless tackle in the Lions' 2-2 draw in Montenegro last month.
