Dawson won’t play before January
Manager Harry Redknapp said last month that an operation on Michael Dawson's troublesome Achilles would be a ‘last resort', but as we learned yesterday, that has become a reality and will keep the England defender out until January at least.
A statement on the club website reads: 'Michael Dawson has today undergone surgery to his right Achilles tendon to assist with his recovery.
