Man City Fine Kolo Toure £740,000 For Failed Drug Test
Manchester City have fined defender Kolo Toure six weeks wages, £740,000, for failing a drug earlier this year.
Toure was handed a six-month ban by the FA in May, backdated to March 2, after he tested positive for a prohibited substance.
Toure claimed the positive test came as a result of taking his wife's diet pills, and he made his return to the City line-up in September.
