Football interviews are something like Goldilocks and the Three Bears: it's pretty lame if they're toeing the vanilla line of political correctness and coached replies, but it's also not smart to be completely open with one's candor. Somewhere in the middle is just right. Tomasz Kuszczak has probably crossed the line a bit, confirmation awaiting upon information about his salary.
