There is no doubting just how tough the Blackburn boss has had it since being appointed manager last season. The media have insinuated that underhanded tactics were involved to remove his predecessor with Kean waiting in the wings as heir apparent; the fans have become disillusioned with both his tactics and transfer policy, and they have now grown exasperated by his bullish refusal bow to the virtually continual protests against his tenure.
